Wacko is a horror-comedy film released in 1982. The plot centers around a killer known as the "Lawnmower Killer," who targets teenage girls. The film follows the antics of an ensemble cast of quirky characters, including a high school student named Mary Graves, her best friend, and a group of goofball detectives trying to catch the killer.
Throughout the film, various suspects are introduced, including a creepy janitor, a perverted high school teacher, and even Mary's own father. Meanwhile, the killer continues to strike, leaving behind a trail of young female victims.
As the body count rises, Mary and her friends become increasingly desperate to catch the killer and put an end to the violence. But with the cops bumbling their way through the investigation and the killer always one step ahead, it seems as though the Lawnmower Killer may never be caught.
Wacko is known for its over-the-top humor, bizarre characters, and gruesome death scenes. The film was panned by critics upon its release but has since gained a cult following among fans of horror-comedy.
