Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea is a science fiction adventure film released in 1961, directed by Irwin Allen, and starring Walter Pidgeon and Joan Fontaine. The movie is set at the height of the Cold War, when the world is on the brink of destruction due to a series of disasters caused by unexplained phenomena.
