Visitor Q is a 2001 Japanese black comedy-drama film directed by Takashi Miike. The film explores taboo subjects such as incest, prostitution, drug addiction, and bullying, and follows the lives of a dysfunctional family.

The father, named Kiyoshi Yamazaki, is a former TV journalist who is now unemployed and unable to support his family. He decides to film a documentary about violence and sex among youths, but finds himself becoming more and more personally involved in such activities.

His daughter, Miki, has become a prostitute to support herself and her infant son. Kiyoshi begins a sexual relationship with her, which is also captured on film.

Meanwhile, Kiyoshi's son, Takuya, is constantly bullied by his classmates and eventually becomes a violent bully himself. Kiyoshi films Takuya's torment and humiliation, further fueling his son's violent tendencies.

One day, a mysterious man named "Q" suddenly appears in their lives. Q is a strange, almost supernatural figure who seems to have a positive effect on the family. He shares a bizarre, sexual encounter with Kiyoshi's wife, Keiko, who is also a heroin addict and prostitute.

As the film progresses, the family's dysfunction becomes more extreme, with violence, sex, and death all playing a role in their lives. The arrival of Q ultimately leads to a strange, unexpected resolution to their problems.

Visitor Q is a disturbing and surreal film, exploring the darkest aspects of human nature with shocking honesty. Despite its controversial subject matter, the film has been praised for its unique vision and powerful emotional impact.
