Vision Quest is a coming-of-age sports drama film released in 1985, directed by Harold Becker and based on the novel by Terry Davis. The film follows high school senior and wrestler Louden Swain, played by Matthew Modine, as he embarks on a personal journey to lose 23 pounds in order to challenge the state's best wrestler, Brian Shute, played by Frank Jasper.
