The film crew consists of three friends, Max, Olivia, and Kelly, who are trying to make a name for themselves in the horror genre. They choose an abandoned orphanage as their filming location, hoping to create an eerie atmosphere for their movie.
However, things quickly turn weird when they discover strange markings on the walls and creepy toys scattered throughout the building. As they continue to film, they realize that something sinister is lurking in the shadows.
Unbeknownst to them, a family of killers has made the orphanage their home and they are not pleased with the intrusion. The family includes a mother, father, and their two sons, all of whom are sadistic and enjoy torturing and killing anyone who enters their domain.
The filmmakers soon become the family's next targets as they struggle to survive and finish their movie before it's too late. Along the way, they encounter a group of cheerleaders who have also been taken captive by the family, adding another layer of horror to their already terrifying situation.
As the film reaches its climax, the lines between reality and fiction blur as the filmmakers realize that their script has been rewritten by the very killers who are hunting them down. Will they make it out alive and finish their movie, or will they become the latest victims of the sadistic family?
