Vicious Lips is a science fiction musical film directed by Albert Pyun. The movie takes place in the year 2884 and follows a space rock band called Vicious Lips. The band, consisting of Mira (Gina Calabrese), Shadow (Shayne Farris), and Mint (Linda Kerridge), is on the cusp of stardom. Their big break comes when they are offered the opportunity to perform at the prestigious Club 727 on the planet Elysium.
However, getting to Elysium is no easy feat. The planet is located on the edge of the galaxy and requires a dangerous voyage through space. Along the way, the band encounters numerous obstacles including a deadly sandstorm, a pirate attack, and a run-in with a group of aliens who are after one of their band members.
Despite the challenges they face, the Vicious Lips never lose sight of their goal and continue on their quest to make it to Club 727 in time for their gig. Along the way, they find allies in the form of a mysterious woman named Astrid (Dedee Pfeiffer) and a smuggler named Joe Flex (Tony Cox).
