Vertigo is a South Korean thriller film released in 2019. Seo-young, a young woman haunted by her traumatic past, suffers from tinnitus and vertigo. She has recently moved to a new office in a 70-story high-rise building. Seo-young is secretly dating Jin-su, the manager of the development team at her office.
Gwan-woo is a window cleaner who lost his sister in a tragic accident. He is navigating the high-rise on ropes while cleaning windows when he catches Seo-young's eye. She watches him in awe and becomes intrigued by him.
When Seo-young receives an unexpected provocation, she becomes vulnerable and her relationship with Jin-su is threatened. As she tries to deal with her emotions, Seo-young and Gwan-woo develop a strange relationship. They're both dealing with their own past traumas and come to find solace in each other.
As the story progresses, Seo-young's vertigo worsens, causing her to question her sanity. She becomes gripped by her fears and struggles with her past traumas. Meanwhile, Gwan-woo wrestles with his own feelings of loss and pain. The movie culminates in a dramatic and unexpected sequence of events that leave the characters forever changed.
