Veronika Decides to Die is a drama film based on the novel of the same name by Paulo Coelho. The movie revolves around Veronika (played by Sarah Michelle Gellar), a young woman who is feeling disillusioned with her life. One day, she decides to commit suicide by overdosing on sleeping pills. However, instead of dying, she wakes up in a mental institution in Slovenia.
