Vengeance is a drama/thriller film directed by Dallas-based filmmaker, Dallas Sonnier and produced by Amanda Presmyk. The movie follows the story of Ben Manalowitz, a journalist, and podcaster who travels from New York City to West Texas to investigate the death of a girl he was hooking up with.
As Ben digs deeper into the girl's death, he discovers a network of corruption, violence, and illegal activities surrounding the town. He sets out to expose the truth and bring justice to the victim's family. With the help of the victim's sister, fellow journalists, and a private investigator, Ben uncovers a shocking conspiracy that puts his own life in danger.
The film features an ensemble cast including Matt Levett as Ben Manalowitz, Dakota Daulby as Wade, the victim's sister, and Tim Rock as Sheriff Hernandez. The movie was shot on location in Marfa, Texas, and features stunning visuals of the West Texas desert landscape.
