Vanjagar Ulagam is a Tamil-language neo-noir mystery thriller film directed by Manoj Beedha and starring Guru Somasundaram, Ciby Bhuvana Chandran, and Anisha Ambrose. The story revolves around a woman named Mythili who is murdered in her apartment complex, and her neighbor, a medical student named Sekhar, is picked up as a suspect. As the investigation progresses, more and more evidence begins to point towards Sekhar, leaving him struggling to prove his innocence.
Meanwhile, a journalist named Archana believes that she can use this murder to lure an elusive gangster named Jothi, with help from Jothi's former accomplice, the charismatic thief and smooth-talker Ongara. Archana and Ongara team up to try and catch Jothi, but their plan becomes complicated when they realize that the murder investigation and Jothi's criminal activities may be more connected than they initially thought.
