The 19th century vampire, Zachary, is a writer who travels to Eastern Europe to keep a journal of his experiences with the undead. His ultimate goal, however, is to track down a vampire lord named Ash who killed his beloved mistress, Sophia. Along the way, Zachary encounters a young woman named Sofia who he believes is the reincarnation of his lost love.
Zachary's journey is not an easy one, as he must fight off numerous vampires and their minions. He befriends a human musician named Ana, who becomes his ally in his battle against the undead. However, Zachary's thirst for revenge blinds him to the potential danger he poses to both humans and vampires alike.
As he continues his hunt for Ash, Zachary crosses paths with a vampire named Serena who he curses with vampirism after she tries to kill him. He also kills the servant of a vampire named Mordecai, leading to a tense showdown between the two.
