Vamp is a 1986 horror-comedy film directed by Richard Wenk. The movie follows two college students, Keith and AJ, who are trying to gain entrance into a popular fraternity. They are tasked with finding entertainment for a party, so they head to a seedy strip club in the city.
Once inside, the boys quickly realize that they are in over their heads. The club is full of strange characters, including a bartender who speaks in rhymes and a bouncer who likes to bite people. The boys also meet a mysterious woman named Katrina, who seems to be the star attraction of the club.
Unbeknownst to the boys, Katrina and the rest of the club's employees are actually vampires. When Keith and AJ accidentally stumble upon a human sacrifice taking place in the club's basement, they attempt to flee, only to find their path blocked by the bloodthirsty creatures.
The remainder of the film follows the boys as they try to escape the club and evade the vampires who are hunting them down. Along the way, they encounter an assortment of strange characters, including a group of homeless people who live in the club's sewer system and a wheelchair-bound vampire hunter.
Vamp was a critical and commercial failure upon its initial release, but has since gained a cult following for its unique blend of horror and comedy. The film stars Chris Makepeace and Robert Rusler as Keith and AJ, respectively, and features Grace Jones in a memorable role as the seductive vampire Katrina.
