Up and Away is a Danish computer-animated adventure comedy film directed by Karsten Kiilerich and produced by A Film Production in collaboration with M&M Productions. The film tells the story of a young boy, Hodja, who dreams of seeing the world beyond his small town of Pjort and his father's tailor shop. Luckily, Hodja meets El Faza, an old carpet merchant who gives him a flying carpet that will take him wherever he wants to go. However, in exchange for the carpet, Hodja must help El Faza bring his granddaughter Diamond back to Pjort.
With the help of Emerald, a poor but street-smart girl, Hodja navigates the city and encounters various challenges, from fighting off thieves to escaping the clutches of the sultan, who is determined to control the flying carpet and use it for his own purposes. As Hodja searches for Diamond and tries to make his way back home, he learns valuable lessons about friendship, courage, and the importance of following your dreams.
