In Universal Soldier: Regeneration, a group of terrorist insurgents have kidnapped the children of the Ukrainian Prime Minister and threaten to ignite a nuclear meltdown if their demands are not met. With time running out and the world on the brink of destruction, Luc Deveraux (played by Jean-Claude Van Damme), a retired Universal Soldier who has been living in seclusion, is reactivated by the government.
However, Deveraux is now being controlled by a new and advanced computer system, run by a rogue UniSol known as Magnus (played by Andrei Arlovski). The computer system has been designed to make Deveraux unstoppable in combat, but it also means that he can no longer make his own decisions.
In his quest to stop the terrorists and the new UniSol, Deveraux is aided by a team of Ukrainian soldiers, including a feisty female medic named Dr. Sandra Flemming (played by Dolph Lundgren). Together, they must navigate a series of intense and challenging battles, both physical and mental, as they fight to save the world from nuclear annihilation.
Throughout the movie, there are intense fight scenes, stunning stunts and incredible special effects.
