Unicorn City follows the story of Voss, a socially awkward gamer who dreams of working at Warlocks of the Beach, a gaming company that he idolizes. In order to impress the company's CEO, Voss decides to create a utopian land called Unicorn City, which he hopes will showcase his leadership abilities and creativity.
Voss recruits a team of fellow gamers to help him build Unicorn City, including Marsha, his longtime crush and fellow gamer. However, Voss's plans are disrupted when his nemesis, Shadowhawk, also wants to take control of Unicorn City and claim victory for himself.
As Voss and his team work to build Unicorn City and fend off Shadowhawk's attacks, Voss also becomes increasingly conflicted about his feelings for Marsha and his commitment to his dream of working at Warlocks of the Beach.
Unicorn City ultimately becomes a battleground, with Voss and Shadowhawk fighting for control of the virtual world and Voss fighting for his own happiness and fulfillment. The film ultimately explores themes of friendship, love, and the importance of following your dreams.
