Underworld U.S.A. is a 1961 crime thriller directed by Samuel Fuller. It stars Cliff Robertson as Tolly Devlin, a young man who witnesses his father getting killed by a group of gangsters when he was just a child. The traumatic incident creates a deep hatred within him and he vows to get revenge on the people who took away his father.
As he grows up, Tolly realizes that the gangsters who killed his father are connected to a larger criminal organization. He decides to infiltrate the underworld and work his way up to the top, gathering information and biding his time.
Eventually, Tolly's plan takes shape and he becomes a right-hand man to the boss of the criminal organization. He soon learns that his true target, the man who ordered his father's killing, is still alive and active in the organization. Tolly must find a way to get close to him and finally exact his revenge.
