Undergods is a darkly comic, dystopian anthology film that follows various ill-fated characters as they navigate a dying Europe, where ruinous buildings and neglected streets have become a playground for the aftermath of a world gone awry. The film features three interwoven stories, each taking place in a different, desolate city.
In the first story, we follow a pair of men who drive through the city streets, collecting corpses for a mysterious corporation. As they carry out their gruesome task, they stumble upon a discovery that puts their own lives in danger.
In the second story, we meet a couple who are brought together through the eviction of their shared apartment. As they set off on a surreal road trip, they encounter a cryptic figure who offers them a new way of living.
The final story follows a lone man who is haunted by visions of his deceased wife. As he wanders through the abandoned city, he comes across a young woman who seems to hold the key to his salvation.
Throughout the film, there is a sense of decay and mystery, as the characters navigate the ruins of a world that has fallen into disrepair. With its surreal imagery, dark humor, and themes of isolation and decay, Undergods presents a haunting portrait of a world in decline.
