Underdogs (also known as Metegol in some countries) is an animated sports comedy film directed by Argentine filmmaker Juan José Campanella. The film was released in 2013 and features an impressive cast of voice actors, including Rupert Grint, Anthony Head, Peter Serafinowicz, Rob Brydon, Alistair McGowan, Katie Douglas, and Juan José Campanella himself.

The story takes place in a small, picturesque village in Argentina, where the main character, Amadeo, lives. Amadeo is a talented table football player, but he's also quite shy and reserved. He has been in love with Lara, his childhood friend, for as long as he can remember, but he's never been able to confess his feelings to her.

One day, Amadeo is challenged to a game of table football by the village bully, Flash. Despite Flash's cheating and dirty tactics, Amadeo manages to win the game, earning him the respect and admiration of his fellow villagers.

Flash, however, is not amused. He swears revenge on Amadeo and leaves the village, vowing to become a great football player and return one day to defeat Amadeo once and for all.

Ten years later, Flash has indeed become an international superstar, hailed as one of the greatest football players of all time. He returns to the village, accompanied by his luxurious entourage and an offer to buy the land where the villagers live.

Amadeo, now a humble bar owner, is hesitant to sell his land, but Flash challenges him to a rematch on the table football field, with the stakes being the land itself. The stage is set for an epic showdown between the two rivals, as their respective teams try to emerge victorious and save their homes.

Underdogs is a heartwarming, fun-filled adventure that celebrates the power of friendship, love, and perseverance. The animation is top-notch, with the characters coming to life in vibrant colors and expressive movements. The film also features a catchy original song, "Yo Soy Tu Amigo Fiel," performed by Argentine musician Diego Torres.
