Alex is a successful businesswoman and an adventure enthusiast who's looking to bring her passion into her career. She’s tasked by her boss to visit a dude ranch, Sweetwater, in order to evaluate its potential for acquisition by their adventure company.
Upon arriving at the ranch, Alex meets the charming owner, Gabe, and the two quickly develop a connection. As Alex begins to explore and experience the beauty of the great outdoors, she discovers her true love for nature and adventure, reigniting her passion for the wilderness and her career.
With the help of Gabe, Alex rediscovers her love for the outdoors, and she realizes that not only does Sweetwater have a high potential for acquisition, but it also offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience that she never knew she needed.
As Alex spends more time on the ranch and with Gabe, her witty and competitive nature begin to challenge Gabe's more laid-back lifestyle. As the two of them navigate their differences, they realize that they grew up on opposite sides of a similar lifestyle and begin to create a lasting relationship.
With her newfound love for the outdoors and newfound love in her life, Alex has decided that she will work to acquire Sweetwater, but she’ll do so in a way that respects the ranch’s values and the intricate balance between man and nature it has established.
