In the movie Under Suspicion, Henry Hearst (Gene Hackman) is a successful lawyer who is called in by the police to clear up some inconsistencies in his witness report of a brutal murder that occurred in the resort town of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The victim was a young girl who was found dead on the beach, and Henry was one of the last people to see her alive.
Henry agrees to come in for questioning, thinking that it will only take a few minutes. But as the interrogation goes on, the police keep finding more and more loose ends in Henry's story, and his ten-minute interview turns into an all-day affair.
