Under Siege is a 1992 American action-thriller film directed by Andrew Davis and starring Steven Seagal, Tommy Lee Jones, and Gary Busey. The film takes place on the USS Missouri, a battleship set to be decommissioned, where a group of terrorists led by ex-CIA operative William Strannix (Jones) and his assistant Krill (Busey) take over the ship. Their plan is to sell the ship's nuclear warheads to a rogue nation.

However, they did not anticipate the presence of Casey Ryback (Seagal), the ship's cook and a former Navy SEAL who is skilled in combat. Ryback becomes aware of the situation and takes it upon himself to stop the terrorists and save the ship and its crew.

The film is filled with intense action scenes, including a fight between Seagal and Jones in the ship's kitchen, a helicopter attack on the ship's deck, and a final showdown between Seagal and Busey's characters.

Under Siege was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $156 million worldwide. It was followed by a sequel, Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, in 1995. The film is considered a classic example of the action-thriller genre and is often cited as one of Seagal's best films.
