Under Siege 2: Dark Territory is a 1995 action-thriller film directed by Geoff Murphy and starring Steven Seagal, Eric Bogosian, and Katherine Heigl. This film is the sequel to the 1992 film "Under Siege" and follows the same character, Casey Ryback.
The film's plot revolves around an expert in electronics, an ex-employee of the government's top-secret satellite control center who hijacks a train carrying an advanced satellite and its control device. He plans to use the satellite as a guided weapon to blow up Washington D.C.
The train is carrying the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and his family, along with other high-profile passengers. Once the hijacker takes control of the train, he kills several members of the crew, including the conductor. The hijacker also takes all the passengers hostage and threatens to kill them if his demands are not met.
Casey Ryback, who is traveling on the same train, witnesses the hijacking and takes action to save the hostages. He manages to get on board the hijacked train and takes out several of the hijackers one by one.
As the train heads towards a bridge, Casey finds the satellite control device and sets out to disable it. The hijacker, however, anticipates this and sends his remaining henchmen to stop Casey. In a climactic battle, Casey faces off against the hijacker and his men and emerges victorious in the end.
Under Siege 2: Dark Territory is an action-packed thriller filled with suspenseful moments and thrilling action scenes. The film was well received by audiences and critics alike and remains a popular film among action movie fans.
