Uncle Frank is a 2020 American drama film written and directed by Alan Ball. The movie is set in the early 1970s and follows Frank Bledsoe, a gay literature professor living in New York City with his boyfriend Walid. When Frank's father dies, he and his teenage niece Beth make a road trip to the funeral in South Carolina.
