After being left at the altar by her fiancé, Melinda (played by Meredith Monroe) decides to go on her honeymoon to Hawaii alone. As fate would have it, David (played by Eddie Mills) also gets left at the altar by his fiancée and decides to take his honeymoon to the same resort in Hawaii.
Upon arrival, both Melinda and David are shocked to find out that they are not the only ones on their honeymoon and are even more surprised when they learn that they are sharing a suite. Initially, Melinda and David do not get along and their constant bickering causes tension between them and the other honeymooners.
However, as time goes on, Melinda and David begin to connect and find common ground in their shared experience of being left at the altar. As they explore the island and participate in various activities, their friendship deepens into something more.
Just as they begin to consider the possibility of a future together, Melinda's ex-fiancé shows up and tries to win her back. David is heartbroken and decides to leave the resort, but Melinda realizes that her true feelings are for David and goes after him.
In the end, Melinda and David end up together and realize that their failed weddings were a blessing in disguise. They return home with a renewed appreciation for life and love.
