Two Hands is a 1999 Australian crime comedy-drama film directed by Gregor Jordan. The central character of the film is a 19-year-old named Jimmy, who works at a dead-end job in a garage and dreams of becoming a big player in the criminal underworld.
One day, Jimmy is asked by his boss to deliver a bag of cash to a local gangster named Pando. However, Jimmy is robbed by a pair of street kids on the way, and the money falls into their hands. Knowing that he will be in trouble with Pando if he doesn't deliver the money, Jimmy sets off on a wild goose chase to recover the stolen cash.
As Jimmy goes on his quest to find the money, he becomes embroiled in a series of misadventures and meets a cast of colourful characters. He is also pursued by Pando's enforcers, who want their money back.
Meanwhile, the two street kids, Alex and Rosie, embark on a shopping spree with the stolen loot. They buy everything from designer clothes to fast food and hotel rooms.
As the clock ticks down, Jimmy and the street kids become increasingly desperate. With everyone on their tail, they must come up with a plan to get out of trouble and save their skins.
With its blend of comedy, drama and action set against the backdrop of Sydney's criminal underbelly, Two Hands is a cult classic of Australian cinema.
