In Twinkle, Twinkle, Lucky Stars, the Lucky Stars team includes five former criminals and their police detective friend, Muscles (played by Jackie Chan). The team is released from prison after serving their sentence for their previous exploits in Winners and Sinners and My Lucky Stars.
This time, they are tasked with keeping a key witness, a former gang member, safe from a ruthless gang that wants to kill him before he can testify in an upcoming trial. If the witness dies, the gang will be set free and continue their criminal activities.
The Lucky Stars team must use their unique skills and work together to protect the witness while also trying to take down the gang members. Along the way, they are confronted with various challenges and obstacles, including a group of skilled female assassins and a dangerous helicopter chase.
Despite their comedic tendencies, the Lucky Stars team proves that they are the best detectives and crime fighters, using their brains and brawn to save the day and bring the gang members to justice.
