Lucy Jacobs is a freshman university student who comes home to her small town for Thanksgiving break. She is excited to be back with her high school sweetheart, Bryce, but her excitement is short-lived when she discovers that he has cheated on her.
Determined not to let her ex ruin her Thanksgiving, Lucy enlists the help of her friends to help her navigate her way through the holiday. As she reconnects with old friends and makes new ones, she starts to realize that she's not the same girl she was when she left for college.
