Turbulence is a 1997 action-thriller film directed by Robert Butler, starring Ray Liotta as Ryan Weaver and Lauren Holly as Teri Halloran. As the plane takes off, Weaver manages to break free from his handcuffs and kills the officers on board, taking control of the plane.
