Tucker Therapy follows the story of a man named Tucker, who has been passed over for a promotion at work multiple times. Determined to finally get his chance to climb the corporate ladder, Tucker comes up with a plan to win his boss' favor.
Knowing that his dysfunctional family is a major obstacle in his path, Tucker decides to trick them into attending a week-long therapy retreat under the guise of a fun family vacation. He believes that if they can just work out their deep-seated issues and baggage, he'll finally be able to present a picture-perfect family life to his boss.
However, things don't go as planned. The family is initially hesitant to participate in therapy and quickly finds themselves in over their heads when they realize that the therapist is no pushover. As the week goes on, secrets are revealed, emotions run high, and old wounds are reopened.
Tucker's wife and children begin to resent him for manipulating them into the retreat, and he realizes that he needs to stop focusing on his work ambitions and start prioritizing his family. In the end, the family learns to work together and overcome their issues, but not before Tucker is forced to make some hard choices about his career and his priorities in life.
Throughout the movie, Tucker learns that family is more important than any job or promotion, and that true success comes from having healthy relationships and a balanced life.
