In the movie, Trym sets out on a dangerous journey into the dark forest to retrieve his father's tail and restore him to his normal form. He is accompanied by a human girl named Dagny, who he has met and befriended. Together, they face many obstacles and challenges, including being pursued by the evil forest queen, who wants to stop them from completing their mission.
Trym and Dagny encounter a group of friendly trolls who offer to help them, but they ultimately must rely on their own courage and wits to succeed. Along the way, they learn the value of friendship, bravery, and determination in the face of adversity.
