Trojan War is a coming-of-age comedy film directed by George Huang, released in 1997. The movie stars Will Friedle as Brad Kimble, a high school student who has been obsessing over his crush Brooke Kingsley (played by Marley Shelton).
One day, Brad finally gets the opportunity to be with Brooke, but he realizes he has no condom. Determined to have safe sex, Brad sets out into the night to find one. Along the way, he encounters several obstacles, such as a gang of bikers, a convenience store robbery, and a car chase. He even goes to a drug dealer to get one.
Meanwhile, Brad's best friend Leah Jones (played by Jennifer Love Hewitt) has been secretly in love with him for years. She goes out to find him and ends up accompanying him on his quest.
Throughout the night, Brad and Leah bond and share some intimate moments, causing Leah's feelings for him to intensify. Brooke, on the other hand, spends the night with Brad's arch-nemesis, Dougie (played by Eric Balfour).
In the end, Brad finally obtains a condom and rushes over to Brooke's house. However, when he arrives, he realizes that he no longer wants to be with her and that he has feelings for Leah instead.
Trojan War is a hilarious and relatable movie about teenage love, friendship, and the obstacles that come with growing up.
