Burt Gummer, a veteran Graboid hunter, and his son Travis Welker, a video blogger, are called to Canada to investigate a series of deadly giant worm attacks. Upon arriving at the remote research facility in the arctic tundra, they discover that the Graboids that they had previously known to only exist in the deserts of Nevada are somehow thriving in the cold weather.
As they get closer to uncovering the truth behind the attacks, they stumble upon a secret underground weapons facility that is housing live Graboids and Ass-Blasters. Burt suspects that the Graboids are being weaponized for military purposes and tries to warn the authorities, but nobody believes him.
Meanwhile, Travis is trying to film a documentary of the deadly creatures, hoping to go viral and become famous. The situation takes a turn for the worse when Burt is bitten by a Graboid and injected with venom. With only 48 hours left to live, they must find a way to create an antidote using the fresh venom that they can milk from a live Graboid.
In a desperate race against time, Burt and Travis must navigate through treacherous terrain and deadly creatures to find a live Graboid and save Burt's life. Will they be able to save him and stop the secret military operation before it's too late?
