Yoshika is a 24-year-old salarywoman who has been obsessed with Ichimiya, whom she refers to as "the One," since middle school. She has never considered anyone else as a potential partner due to her all-consuming fixation on him. Despite her infatuation, Ichimiya is completely unaware of her feelings.
One day, a colleague at work named Ni accidentally spills coffee on Yoshika's shirt. He offers to take her to a dry cleaner to get it cleaned, and while there, he asks her out on a date. Initially hesitant, Yoshika decides to go out with Ni as a way to move on from her obsession with Ichimiya. However, her feelings for Ni are complicated and she finds herself struggling to sort through her emotions.
Throughout the movie, Yoshika navigates the complexities of her relationships with both Ichimiya and Ni. She reflects on her past experiences with crushes and tries to understand her own feelings as she begins to confront the reality of her situation. Will she finally be able to let go of her longstanding crush and move on with someone new, or will she continue to dream of "the One"?
