Treasure Planet is a 2002 animated science fiction film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel Treasure Island. The movie is set in a futuristic world where humans and aliens live together in outer space, traveling between planets and asteroids.
The main character, Jim Hawkins, is a rebellious teenage boy who dreams of adventure. One day, he comes across a mysterious map that leads to the "Treasure Planet," a legendary world where a treasure of unimaginable wealth is supposedly hidden.
