After his successful delivery of a package, Frank Martin (played by Jason Statham) is approached by his friend and fellow mercenary, Tarconi (played by François Berléand). Tarconi is on his way to Miami to work as a bodyguard for the family of a powerful politician, and he offers Frank a job as a temporary chauffeur.
Frank quickly becomes an indispensable asset to the family, including the young son, Jack (played by Hunter Clary), who becomes fond of him. However, things take a dark turn when a group of kidnappers target Jack.
