Jack Deth is a cop from the year 2247 who works for the futuristic police force known as the "Time Enforcement Commission". He is sent back in time to Los Angeles in the year 1985 to track down a dangerous and elusive criminal, Whistler, who has discovered a way to turn people into "Trancers" – zombie-like beings who are completely loyal to him.
To make matters worse, Whistler is also a powerful psychic who can control the minds of others and is plotting to use his Trancer army to take over the city and eventually the world.
With the help of a young ally, Lena, and his own fighting skills, Jack must navigate the dangerous streets of 1985 Los Angeles and stop Whistler before it's too late. Along the way, he encounters various obstacles, including a corrupt cop who is in league with Whistler and a bounty hunter who is after Lena.
Despite the challenges, Jack manages to succeed in his mission and destroys the Trancer program, preventing Whistler from unleashing his army on the world. However, in the process, he also discovers a shocking secret about his own family history that threatens to change his life forever.
