"Training Day" follows rookie narcotics officer Jake Hoyt as he is paired with veteran detective Alonzo Harris for a day of training in the tough neighborhoods of Los Angeles. At first, Jake is eager to learn from Alonzo, who has a reputation for getting results. However, as the day progresses, it becomes clear that Alonzo is not operating by the book.
