The movie stars Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, and Mike Smith as Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles, respectively, along with John Dunsworth as Jim Lahey and Patrick Roach as Randy. It was released in 2009 in Canada and 2010 in the United States.

Determined to get their hands on some money, Ricky decides to open up a bar in the park, but it proves to be more challenging than he thought. He gets duped by a former associate and ends up owing a large debt to a local gangster named Cyrus. Julian, on the other hand, decides that he wants to turn his life around and become a legitimate businessman. When he meets a wealthy entrepreneur named Ivan, he sees an opportunity to invest in a luxury car wash franchise.

The movie follows the misadventures of Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles as they navigate their way through their new and changed environment, dealing with old and new characters alike. In the end, they discover that all is not as it seems, and their plans for a bright and prosperous future may not be as promising as they had hoped.

Overall, Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day is a hilarious and entertaining addition to the Trailer Park Boys franchise, filled with the same irreverent humor and colorful characters that fans have come to love.
