TQM

Thriller  United States of America

TQM is a Mexican comedy-drama film released in 2018. The story revolves around Dr. Claudia Molina, a highly respected psychiatrist who decides to carry out an unusual experiment to determine how to split her inheritance among her three children, Natalia, Matías, and Gabriel.

Dr. Molina devises a series of tests that measure the children's emotional and intellectual intelligence, their capacity for teamwork, and their entrepreneurial skills. As the test progresses, the siblings face various challenges that force them to confront their past traumas, family secrets, and personal shortcomings.

While this is going on, Dr. Molina is confronted with a difficult patient, Guillermo, who was brought to her by his sister, Natalia. Guillermo, however, refuses to cooperate with the experiment and challenges the ethics of Dr. Molina's approach, leading to tensions and conflicts.

As the experiment progresses, the siblings' bonds strengthen, and they discover qualities and skills in each other and themselves that they had not known before. Ultimately, the experiment helps them heal old wounds, reconcile with their past, and learn to cooperate and love each other.

TQM stars Adriana Barraza as Dr. Molina, and Moisés Arizmendi, Gabriela de la Garza, and Julián Román as Natalia, Matías, and Gabriel, respectively. The film was directed by Martín Deus, and written by Enrique Vázquez and Alejandra Olvera Avila.
