Tough Guys is a comedy film directed by Jeff Kanew and starring legendary actors Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas. The movie was released in 1986 and was well-received by critics and audiences alike.

The story follows two elderly ex-cons, Harry Doyle (Lancaster) and Archie Lang (Douglas), who are released from prison after serving a 30-year sentence for robbing a train. They struggle to adjust to life on the outside and find that the world has changed a lot since they were last free.

Harry is placed in a nursing home where he faces the indignity of being treated like an old man. Meanwhile, Archie is stuck working as a busboy in a diner and is determined to rekindle his youth by getting into shape. He meets a young aerobics instructor named Skye (Dana Carvey) and the two strike up a relationship.

When Harry and Archie team up to stop a bank robbery, they realize that they still have the skills and the nerve to pull off a heist. They decide to rob an armored car, but the job goes wrong and they end up on the run from the law. Determined to go out in style, they set their sights on the same train they robbed 30 years ago.

Along the way, they are pursued by two young cops, Leon B. Little (Eli Wallach) and Bobby DiLea (Charles Durning), who are determined to catch the aging criminals. But Harry and Archie prove to be more than a match for them and, in the end, they pull off one last great heist before finally retiring for good.

Tough Guys is a fun and entertaining movie that showcases the great chemistry between Lancaster and Douglas, who had worked together many times before. It's a fitting tribute to two of Hollywood's true legends and a reminder that you're never too old to have an adventure.
