The young man, named Takumi, starts working at the factory after serving time in prison for a crime he maintains he didn't commit. He keeps to himself and tries to avoid attention, but Tomie notices him and takes an interest in him. Takumi is initially confused by her advances, as he has never experienced attraction towards anyone.
As Tomie's obsession with Takumi grows, she starts to display jealous behavior towards any woman who interacts with him, including his co-worker and the factory owner's daughter. Tomie even goes as far as using her supernatural powers to harm these women.
But Tomie is not the only one obsessing over Takumi. Another Tomie, who has a more maternal approach towards him, arrives on the scene. This Tomie claims to have given birth to him and wants to protect him from the other Tomie.
As Takumi is caught in the middle of the two competing Tomies, he starts to unravel the truth about his past and his connection to the two women. The story culminates in a shocking showdown between the two Tomies, leaving Takumi to question his own existence and identity.
Throughout the film, the eerie and unsettling atmosphere of the factory adds an extra layer of tension to the already disturbing story. The visuals are haunting and beautiful, capturing the surreal quality of the Tomie series.
