Tomcats is a 2001 comedy film directed by Gregory Poirier. The film follows a group of college friends who make a pact to contribute money to a "Tomcat Fund" on the condition that the last remaining member of their group who remains unmarried can collect the money. Seven years later, the fund has grown to $500,000, and it is revealed that Michael Delaney (Jerry O'Connell) owes a significant gambling debt. Desperate to pay off his debt, Michael sets out to find Kyle Brenner (Jake Busey), the only other member of the group who is still single.
However, Michael soon discovers that Kyle has become a hopeless womanizer, and has no intention of settling down anytime soon. While trying to convince Kyle to marry and claim the money, Michael meets a beautiful woman named Natalie Parker (Shannon Elizabeth), who becomes the object of both men's affections. Meanwhile, a private investigator hired by Michael's creditor begins to close in on him, adding to the urgency of finding a solution to his financial troubles.
