Tokyo Drifter is a 1966 Japanese film directed by Seijun Suzuki. The film follows the story of Tetsu, a former yakuza enforcer who becomes a drifter after his boss Kurata dissolves his criminal empire. However, Tetsu's past soon catches up with him when Otsuka, a rival yakuza boss, offers him a position in his organization.
