To Tokyo is a film that follows the story of a young woman named Naoko, who has escaped to a remote Japanese village to hide from her past. Naoko has been living a peaceful life, but her step-sister, who she hasn't seen in years, unexpectedly reaches out to her and challenges her to return home.
Before Naoko can make a decision, she is abducted by a monster and taken into a fantastic wilderness. With only four nights to escape and make it to Tokyo, Naoko must navigate through the wilderness and confront her past demons that have been haunting her.
Along the way, Naoko meets a young man named Toshi, who helps her on her journey through the wilderness and also confront her past. As they journey towards Tokyo, Naoko and Toshi face several challenges that test their resolve and strength.
The film is directed by Caspar Seale Jones and stars Nanami Hidaka as Naoko and Toshihiro Wada as Toshi. To Tokyo is an emotional and thrilling journey that explores themes of forgiveness, redemption, and facing one's past.
