Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made is a 2020 comedy-drama film directed by Tom McCarthy and based on the book series Timmy Failure by Stephan Pastis. The story revolves around an 11-year-old boy named Timmy who runs Total Failures, his own detective agency that he believes to be the best in his small town. Timmy's best friend is an imaginary 1,200-pound polar bear named Total, who he often confides in and relies upon for help in his detective work.
