Time Walker is a science fiction/horror movie released in 1982. The story follows a group of archaeologists who discover the tomb of Ankh-Vanharis, an ancient Egyptian who was buried with a mysterious and powerful artifact called the crystals of the seven rays. The team brings the coffin back to the U.S. for further study. During the X-ray examination of the coffin, the team mistakenly revives a deadly green fungus that was trapped inside the tomb.
As the team prepares for a press conference to unveil their discovery, they notice strange occurrences happening around them. The mummy of Ankh-Vanharis disappears from its resting place, and the fungus begins to spread and infect members of the team. They soon realize that the alien fungus has a life force of its own and is using the crystals to power a time portal that will allow it to return to its home planet and spread across the universe.
As the body count rises and the fungus continues to grow, the surviving members of the team band together to stop the Time Walker and prevent it from spreading its deadly spores. The action-packed climax sees the team battling the fungus, the mummy, and time itself to save humanity from certain doom.
The movie features a cast of relatively unknown actors and was directed by Tom Kennedy.
