In the movie Tiger Warsaw, Leroy Jones returns to his hometown of Warsaw, Indiana after being released from prison for a crime he didn't commit. He discovers that his family and friends have moved on without him, and his former lover Paula has married his estranged brother, Tiger Warsaw.
Leroy tries to start a new life by taking a job at a local farm and rekindling his romance with his old flame, but Paula is hesitant to leave her husband. Meanwhile, Leroy's father Rufus is determined to break his son's celibacy streak by setting him up with various women, including the town prostitute.
Rev. Lenox Thomas tries to keep his dark past hidden from the town, but Leroy uncovers his secrets and blackmails him to get what he wants. In the end, Leroy confronts Tiger for stealing Paula from him and the two brothers come to blows, leading to a tragic ending.
The movie deals with themes of family dysfunction, forgiveness, and redemption, all while showcasing Pryor's comedic talents in a range of roles.
