Thunder and Lightning is a 1977 action-comedy film directed by Corey Allen. The movie follows a young man named Harley Thomas (David Carradine), who works as a truck driver, hauling liquor for moonshiners in the backwoods of Florida.
Although Harley is well-liked by the people in the area, he becomes the target of a rival gang of moonshiners who want to take over his operation. The rival gang is led by a ruthless businessman named Bubba Daniels (Christopher Lee), who will stop at nothing to get his hands on Harley's shipment of moonshine.
Harley teams up with a beautiful woman named Nancy Sue (Kate Jackson) and an aging moonshiner named Cledus (Strother Martin) to fight off the competition. But as they prepare to go to war, they discover that the rival gang is not the only threat they must face.
The movie features high-speed car chases, explosive shootouts, and plenty of comedic moments. It was well-received by audiences upon its release, and is considered a cult classic by many fans of the genre.
