In the movie Thumbelina, the tiny girl is born from a magical flower and is discovered by a kind woman who takes her in as her own. Thumbelina is different from other girls because of her size and struggles to find acceptance and love from others.
One day, Thumbelina meets a fairy prince named Cornelius and the two quickly become friends. However, Thumbelina is soon kidnapped by the evil Mrs. Toad and forced to marry her son, Grunt. Cornelius sets out to rescue Thumbelina with the help of a friendly swallow named Jacquimo.
During their journey, the group encounters a variety of obstacles and creatures, including a jitterbug who loves to dance and a friendly mole who wants Thumbelina to be his bride. Eventually, Cornelius saves Thumbelina and the two confess their love for each other. However, their happy ending is threatened by the arrival of winter, which brings danger to the fairy kingdom.
In the end, Thumbelina and Cornelius are able to overcome the winter and live happily ever after. The film is known for its beautiful soundtrack and vibrant animation.
