In Throwback Holiday, Jacqueline is a middle-aged woman who feels stuck in her life. She is in a loveless marriage and has a dead-end job. One day, she runs into her former high school classmate, Ramone, who is now a successful entrepreneur.
Jacqueline starts to reminisce about her high school days and begins to wish she could go back in time and make different choices. The next morning, she wakes up to find herself in her teenage body, living at home with her parents.
At first, Jacqueline is excited about the second chance she has been given. She starts to make different choices, such as trying out for the school play and standing up to the popular kids. She even gets to relive her first love affair, this time with a more mature outlook.
As Jacqueline adjusts to her new life, she realizes that changing the past isn't as easy as it seems. She discovers that her actions have consequences and that the people she thought she hated aren't so bad after all.
Will Jacqueline try to change everything, or will she realize that her life has led her exactly to where she needs to be? Throwback Holiday is a heartwarming movie about second chances, and the importance of cherishing the present.
